Furthermore the cash from such sale would allow Southridge to ramp up exploration and mining with its portfolio of mineral properties located in several world-class mining regions of Mexico. The properties include the past producing and flagship property Cinco Minas, along with the Gran Cabrera, Los Compadres, La Esperanza, La Canita and El Horconcito.

They way you are referring to the PR assumes that both sentences are referring to the future. You simply need to read it differently. The first sentence is forward-looking, while the second sentence is present-tense. A simple grammar explanation is that the second sentence is a separate (new) thought, not a continuation of the first thought.

1st thought: The sale.... ie. the future, what they plan on accomplishing

2nd thought: The present... ie. what they currently hold in their portfolio

If they were to write the PR with a singular thought (not future/and present) the second sentence would read something like, "The properties would include...." to imply ... in the future... as it already states in the first sentence, "...sale would allow...," showing indefinately that this a forward-looking statement. And if this were the case, Cinco Minas would not be listed in the portfolio of properties because it would have been sold.

So they basically would be mining from their other properties if they sold Cinco Minas.

Hope this helps the confusion.

Cheers
