master- I think I know why Gateway is waiting...

Even though no company wants to be 'second fiddle', I think Gateway is well-resigned to that fact (3rd fiddle, in their case). Why not wait until DELL puts on the major marketing push for 1.2, then simply piggyback on that publicity with an alternative of your own? Kind of smart, when you think about it; let Dell kickstart YOUR ad campaign, save some money, then have the credibility of Dell to point to as, "See, Dell is doing it." Or, I could be completely wrong.
