DON'T SELL YET. AND HERE IS WHY. I like many of you have been very discouraged with PPTL. I have held shares in this stock since 2006. I have 200,000 shares. The past few months have been very interesting. For a stock that has no updated infromtion, can no longer be contacted and no longer has a website and is trading in the thousandths of a penny one would think it was dead. And yet in the past few months there has been a lot of activity. Very strange. Today I decided to track down information on PPTL. I got ahold of the Alberta Resource Conservation Board. They told me that the only number they had on file associated with PPTL was Transaction Oil And Gas Ventures Inc. After contacting TOGV I was able to find out that they used to handle much of PPTLs business aspects but has been let go some months ago by Bruce Thomson - Pres and CEO of PPTL. I further found out that PPTL was now connected in some way with High Energy Resources - 1000 E William Street, #204 / Carson City, NV 89701. I could not find HER on the internet. However I was also given this company's phone number. I called the number. A man answered the phone with a simple hello and told me that he had no associaltion with PPTL. He was anxious to get me off the phone. Curious, I googled the phone number as perhaps I had gotten a wrong number. I then found that the number that I called was listed as Permieum Pertoleum. I later found a post from this very board (#1293) that substanciated that this number was Bruce's number. The phone number is 604 836-2282. Now to anyone reading this post I do have one more thing to offer. When I was talking to the person at Tansactions Oil And Gas Ventures I made a suppositon. I suggested that someone is trying to buy a lot of PPTL stock - dirt cheap. If this was not true why is there so much activity on a stock that is as close to worthless as can be. No rational person would be buying it. The only thing that can be deduced is that someone is trying to get the controlling share of this stock. And the only reason someone would do that would be because the stock has real value. We just don't know it. When I mentoned this to my contact at Transaction Oil I was not surprised to find out that this person did not disagree with me at all. I mentally wrote this stock off a long time ago as a learning experience. But perhaps it might be more than a learning experience. I'm not selling - after all - the stock can basically only go up and someone out there is buying.
