I generally come out better with daytrades. Sometimes i have scored big on swing trades but i have also had it handed to me on them. If you narrow down to a handfull of stocks and learn the movements daytrades can be lucrative. To daytrade everyday though you have to have 25k minimum. If you want to daytrade with less than that you would have to trade futures. Im getting into futures now and you really can make quite abit fast but you really have to know what your doing because you can also lose lots of money fast. Check out the ES and YM to start.

I am done with penny stocks though. I got pumped and dumped on enough of those to last a lifetime.
