Hector, I have NO idea about the size of any 'suspected' short posistion. However, thee was substantial covering in the days during the walk up where buy pressureallowed the MMs to dork around with the price, and one could see MANY 'trades' going off between bid and ask. You have to ask yourself, would they sell to ME at anything less than the ask? Yea RIGHT. With the non-enforcement of laws, and creative 'share laundering' now way to know if only 2 shares left to voer or 200 Million. But you're right, with the intensity of the campaign against the stock, makes me suspect that substantial numbers still out there to cover. Just speculation, of course, but a saying comes to mind 'if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck........'
