OT: Reasonable Men
I believe that reasonable men, if told about the vision that SKS defined early on, ie. the scope and enormity of the project of re-defining the way in which the internet is used...the scale of convincing hundreds of institutionalized companies with entrenched revenue-producing interests, to incorporate something new, of getting acceptance from world governments and the financial services industry and the healthcare industry and the computer industry and have this process be as far along as it is would never have believed it. Mind-boggling...I don't believe that any single individual in this community can appreciate how much hubris it takes to think in these kinds of terms, except for Barge. :) Maybe, hubris isn't the right term...how about stainless steel gonads...Mind-boggling...
