What do the people on BIEL's payroll do? Andy doesn't even have to step down. There should be people around him he trusts that can come up with ideas for marketing what/where they can.
IMO, BIEL is/should not be a "one man band". Now IF he is not listening to ideas, that is a different story and you hope the board can do its job.

You look at the most successful companies, and they may have "the guy", but you can bet "the guy" surrounded himself with the right team of people to make things happen.
