The U.S. equity markets including the NYSE and Nasdaq will be closed today and Tuesday, according to the SEC, due to Hurricane Sandy. The CBOE said options trading will be closed today. The CME said that it will close its equity index futures and options floor trading for today and that Globex equity index trading will close at 9:15 AT ET this morning. Nymex floor trading will be closed today. The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association recommended that cash Treasury and fixed-income trading should close at noon today.
