Motion DNA Injury Testing Helps Athlete Win Landmark Decision From the NCAA, the Governing Body of Collegiate Sports
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Motion DNA Corporation (Pink Sheets: MTDX) announced today that the company's test results have assisted a current collegiate athlete gain an extra year of eligibility due to injuries suffered while attending a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) institution.

Company officials submitted data and a summary report of findings acquired during Motion DNA testing on the athlete which occurred from 2001 to 2003 to assist the collegiate fastpitch softball pitcher in a claim against her former team and university. The athlete, not to be identified in this release due to NCAA rules prohibiting the release of the names of athletes currently competing at another NCAA institution by the company, claimed she was required to do exercises which contributed to a back injury she suffered at the hands of the university staff.

While Motion DNA Corporation often conducts testing at the request of the individual athlete, several athletic programs have chosen to initiate Motion DNA testing as a preventative measure. Those institutions have seen a significant decrease in visitation of athletes to the training room and injury lists. Motion DNA Corporation has initiated a series of education seminars to inform coaches, athletes and parents of the benefits of Motion DNA testing.
