UTX tempers 4Q12 guidance:

The company…now expects full-year sales of $58 billion after having previously said they could come in as high as $59 billion. It affirmed its profit forecast of $5.25 to $5.35 a share.

Somewhat surprisingly, UTX said the outlook for the Otis (elevator) segment in China is fairly strong.
