Waveway: Happy to substantiate what I said.

In 1997, SKS told Plympton and myself during a trip to Lee "all the major software companies are aboard (Wave) except Disney and Disney is coming along just fine." Truth: Not a single major software co. was aboard. [This was during the early rent-to-own software model.]

He also was asked by us about a CRN report saying all the major PC-OEMs would sign up with Wave within the next 90 days or so.

When asked about that, he replied, "That (timeline) sounds about right." In fact, no major PC-OEM signed up.

In Nov. 1999, SKS told a CRN reporter Wave would begin shipping its product the following month and would soon ramp up to a million units shipped per month.

[Blue comment: Years later, we learned at the time that comment was made, Wave had no actual product, not even a prototype. Wave had a paper design, that's all. The deployment comment was totally fabricated.]

In 2003 SKS said he thought Wave could hit breakeven the following year. He went on, almost every subsequent year, saying break-even would come in a quarter or two.

In about 2002, he told a meeting of financial analysts in Boston, "You will see in the next three weeks why we need the money." [He was seeking new investors. Nothing happened in 3 weeks or even 3 years.]

In late 2006, SKS said, "I can hit breakeven Q1 2007, no later than Q2, based on business in hand."

In 2010 with only 3 weeks of Q1 left, SKS said, "This will be the first cashflow break-even quarter from operations in the company's history.

A year later the CFO said virtually the same thing, again just before the quarter closed.

He promised tens of thousands of seats were on their way. They must have lost their way.

He said big deals were done and only needed lawyers' signatures. Never happened.

He has also said, "This will be a watershed year for Wave." Circa 2000, Again Wave had piddly receipts, not even breaking $100K

A couple of years later he said, "This will be a banner year for Wave." Again, it was a lackluster year.

I have lots more, in fact, I have the entire record of SKS's public statements on break-even.

But I believe that is enough to substantiate my statement about false predictions coming often.

Plain and simple, SKS is a pathological liar, known within the company and in the Berkshires as a habitual liar.

Best wishes--Blue
