When someone is interested in buying they bring up the RS for the 100th time in hopes to strike fear in the sheep that will echo the message over and over again and drive the price down a fraction. One person making the claim will not have any effect unless they engage others in a discussion. It works more often than not which is why you'll see the same thing on all boards.

By saying there will be a RS, they can never be proven wrong unless they qualify their prediction with a time frame.

Notice they never do.
