I wouldn't be that rash. I deal with corporate people all the time and things change all the time. I just got a cancellation of a visit by the VP of a large retailer that has been set for 3 weeks. Stuff happens. If you did not set a specific time for the call, don't necessarily expect it by the end of the day.
