I just got in recently and did some quick DD, but the bottom line is GOOG has too much to lose in court, so they cant let this go to trial. If in the event they did lose, and we all know stranger things have happened in court (see hot coffee at McDonalds) GOOG cant put it's company in the hands of 12 dim wits sitting in a court room.

I see settlement or swallow VRNG, then GOOG owns the patents.
