Stop and think, if these companies are already using the IDCC technology then they already have the technology, hence the license agreement for using may now actually be enhanced as they would want to portray they are paying for the technology they are using. They would simply say these companies have filed for patents which is public information and we didn't steal anything we are paying for its use.
