School districts never were going to buy it.

It was going to be given them free, paid for by advertisements in the reports to parents. But, I get your point...

I don't see people getting text messages about their students also reading an ad which accompanies the message...

Probably will never be deployed, so it's all moot...

Get the money when the opportunity arises. If you want to sit on it and let the opportunity pass you by well then that is your decision.
