How ironic and worthy of a comment:

First of all, I would like to see a link or an email from APS directly confirming this claim that they are not promoting SRGE.

Secondly, how can one know with certainty that "APS" even exists? Does anyone have any verifiable proof that the ownership of APS a.k.a. Degroupa Tener Morales Media or Centro Azteca et al exists? Where are these folks located and registered, what are their phone numbers? Why couldn't another ownership name be Fourstar Group or Flyhigh Capital?

The belief seems to be: If we can't dig up info off of a Google search they simply could not and do not exist, so I do have to question how can a non-existent entity confirm they are or are not promoting SRGE or better yet send out emails to subscribers they cannot possibly have?

An entity like <APS> is believed to exist because someone is sending emails. The source of the real controllers behind it cannot be known even if one spent years and years trying. Some things are just meant not to be known and it is ok not to know it all.

In re. of a possible APS SRGE promotion: this possibility should not be dismissed, imo. APS has been purchasing many emailing lists and existing promo sites and will continue to do so. On the flip side, there are many APS apers too. It has become such a big guessing game that anything is possible at this point. Regardless, it is not up to anyone but APS to decide whether SRGE will be their TOP PICK for 2012 til 2013.
