I would not say <holding news> but let's say there is a tender offer on the table and the company is considering it. Would it not be strategically sound for the company to not show its cards and buyback as many shares so that who ever is making the tender offer would have to pay more $$ for SRGE? Since the float seems locked, SRGE's suitors cannot even load up...Isn't mgmt doing the company and its shareholders a favor by releasing information at the right time? SRGE management owes nothing to lurkers or doubter who are not shareholders. Their business is only with the company and its shareholders and that is perfectly fine with me.
