Apple Inc. (AAPL) said Monday it sold 5 million iPhone 5s since the device went on sale three days ago. The Cupertino, Calif. , computer maker said demand for the iPhone 5 is "incredible" and the company is "working hard to get an iPhone 5 into the hands of every customer who wants one as quickly as possible." Apple said it sold out its initial supply, but stores continue to receive iPhone 5s regularly. Customers can continue to order online and receive an estimated delivery date, the company said. "While the majority of pre-orders have been shipped to customers, many are scheduled to be shipped in October," the company said. Shares of Apple fell 1.8% in premarket trades.
