I know I am not in the majority here on this issue, but honestly ... do you really think there is any chance a company like Apple is going to put their credibility and their brand on the line by depending on a neophyte, unproven, and financially stressed company like LQMT for anything in the upcoming iphone 5? This product is being talked about as one of the biggest product releases in Apple history and critical to their success against Samsung and other trying to penetrate their golden grip on the smartphone market.

I see no way that Apple would make a stupid gamble like that when it is totally unnecessary. Apple is the most innovative company in the world and they have resources and staff to develop things that will make our heads spin. Liquidmetal is nothing to them. If it was, they would have bought it outright and used what they wanted out of it and spun off the rest.

Why did they invest the $20 million to lock up LQMT technology for the CE market? I don't know. But $20 million dollars is immaterial for Apple. It is huge for LQMT, but chump change to Apple.

IMHO, this board needs to quit obsessing about AAPL. That is not what is going to make LQMT move, let alone survive.
