Big picture

Does anyone know if Nok makes their own chips? If they do, then IDCC and Nok should make a lot of money on TDD chips. If they do not, then the two parties should get together and agree on the chipmaker that will give them the biggest piece of the action.

I am still shocked that IDCC would reveal confidential contracts of others. I cannot believe that an auditor would make such a requirement as to the entire agreement. IDCC either had permission from Sharp, NEC and Nok or they have violated the spirit of the contractual relations. IR should state whether they published by consent or by request of the SEC. I do not believe that CPA's would require a client to dishonor a confidentialty clause and intentionally interfere with the contracts of others. On the other hand, if the SEC told IDCC to publish, then I believe no consent by the subject parties would be required.

Still a mystery after sleeping on it.
