Everyone should have both a offensive as well as defensive exit strategy. Unfortunately that 40K lost is going to go into someone else's wallet. The name of the game is to make as much as you can on your winners and lose as little as possible on your losers. I always buy small positions at the higher prices and add as it drops....that way I am not out too much as I go, and if it bumps up along the way I can get close to breaking even. As long as this doesn't go to no bid with a reverse split, I will still make money on this stock. If I had that much cash tied into this stock at 24 cents I would have dumped it when it dropped 10% and waited for a new entry point.
