Mississippi Lime Play

Not everyone is happy with the play - or at least it seems that way to me after listening to Floyd Wilson Chrman and CEO of Halcon. At the Enercom he mentioned that they've drilled two Mississippian wells in OK - one good, the other "lousy". He didn't sound happy about future prospects for their acreage, either.

HK got their land in the Mississippian play when they merged with GeoResources. I believe most of Geo's acres were in Osage county. Funny, that's where OEDV has their play, which I thought they suggested was potentially the richest in OK.

On the other hand Apache started drilling their properties in KS and Nebraska shortly after acquiring them. Synergy has property quite close by the Apache land in Nebraska.
