Last week I took my son to UC San Diego for his first year of college. He's majoring in computer engineering. I was wondering if anyone has any information on internships at Qualcomm. He's bright and kind of nerdy, so I'm thinking it could be a great fit. So if anyone has any info please e-mail me offline at [e-mail].

It was interesting that at the orientation they mentioned that Irwin Jacobs was on the faculty at one time, and one person (a self proclaimed "nobody) mentioned that he met him once and they chatted for 30 minutes. He said IJ was a down to earth nice guy.
