Ironic that the A123 founder was a Chinese-American(from a top-of-the-world institution like MIT).Frankly,I feel this whole negativity about the Chinese connection has been way overblown. This is business for God's sake, not some kiddo game.So what if the lifeline is from a China-based company?A GE or a GM would've surely been preferable, but Wanxiang is not a fledgling Chinese company, they've had a US presence for quite a while now.Why don't we see it in the light that to a hungry & starving person, how does it matter if the hand that provides food is an Asian or Antarctican. At least, now with this lifeline A123 will live to see another day.And who knows, maybe we still could get a GE/GM offer? It's not over until it's over.
