Most people invested in GTE are for the strat the paradigm shift in technology. Yes core is a base and support of company's survival at the moment when other business models are being developed and implemented. If you say otherwise they you are not being truthfull. If some people want VoIp so much why don't you buy IPO of Vonage or skype.
However, GTE succeeded to increase sales every quarter this year and this has nothing to do with the STRAT.
Even without the STRAT, GTE is becoming a profitable company.
Yes that is true and i agree but i want to see GTE sticking to the business plan and timeline mentioned.
You can increase sales all you want but if cost of executing those sales are higher then company eventually will go bankrupt. It's net profit, bottom line that matters to street and margins in 15-40% are embraced by street not 3-5%. Now strat will have those margins and so will magic money but not carrier traffic. Sorry.
