When they start a promo, the bigger number of newsletters covering it, the better it looks. Several websites like hotstocked list each one as a separate newsletter. I'd feel better buying if 12 newsletters were covering as opposed to one. It also probably allows them to demand higher compensation. They don't all start with several, they can also acquire newsletters with large subscriber lists for the right price.
