Would Jorge throw down the gauntlet, defy a gag order, and use a bazooka to shoot lye in Barrick's eyes, if he didn't have the goods? And risk extremely serious repercussions?

When you "got game" you speak with confidence. When you are a liar you obfuscate things. And justify. And twist things. And blame. Barrick must think that their shareholders consist solely of morons. (sheep maybe, but not morons). 40-60 percent cost overruns? You just gotta love that PR.
