I have studied this photo very carefully.

The band is made of aluminum. All the holes have been machined.

Further, this has been dropped at least twice and left two dents on the left side, one top left, one top bottom.

Liquidmetal would not do this. Further the holes would be more precise and not chipped around the circumference of the tiny holes.

Sorry to burst anybody's bubble.

Clearly, to me, it is more likely, color-wise, that the small connectors for both the round microphone and the oval 8 pin connector are made of liquidmetal rather than the encasing material which I believe to be aluminum.

The smaller parts would fit into a more likely scenario.
