I am under the impression from seeing the system last year at Trexpo that the recoil kits are third-party items that Virtra buys? Fats makes thier own recoil weapons (wireless/tetherless recoil "bluefire"), and AIS makes their own recoil weapons. I think that IES and Lasershot are using the same recoil kits from the same manufacturer that Virtra is buying them from.

I saw this in the Virtra booth literature, and you can see the same one on the Lasershot website: http://www.lasershot-lawenforcement.com/accessories.php?subid=2

Is that the same recoil kit that virta uses? A third party item that at least three sim companies are using?
