In my opinion, once I put money into a 'long' play, I kiss it goodbye. I'm riding the waves while waiting for the ship to come in with valuable cargo. If I'm wrong, I have to look for a new adventure ... But I won't abandon ship mid storm unless I see the captain and crew bailing ...

I certainly see why some are selling in order to buy back later at lower price. That's a risk many won't take. If one believes the DD, there's really no reason to bail.
