They have a chance to make up for it now.

We know the counter value (pipeline, IP, etc) is all still there. If they are going to get their profits through the cheap options then it is in their interest to get a high pps.

As of that point what is in their interest is in ours. So I prefer by far partnerships then acquisitions because in the last case there is to much opportunity for a few to serve the plate in a separate buffet.

But your extended board with extended experience is certainly a plus if it doesn't result in trouble between those board members (always a risk).
