This is why an eight or nine person BOD with biotech experience is critical. What is the best deal for shareholders and not what is the best deal for a self serving mgmt team. AF was right but for the wrong reasons. It's not that mgmt doesn't have something. They have something but have sold the company off for pennies on the dollar for their personal gain ala cheap options. Granted the atm may have been efficient but mgmt made no attempt in getting value for the shares sold and benefited from such poor performance.
