There are plenty out there, however the most important reason big companies don't release LOI's is because most acquisitions are done for public companies and if they make these announcement obviously that would significantly increase the price which lends itself for price manipulation and greater costs they wouldn't want to incur. On the other hand most acquisitions made by otc companies are for private companies, which make it less likely that they would experience a rise in costs or that insider profits would occur, like it happened here the price didn't rise after the LOI. Again, you don't have a good point.
