The ticker boards are for amatuers, pumpers and those who wish to prey on others emotions to create better positions for themselves. If you've been around long enough, you can always spot the soon-to-be bag holders from a mile away. This is particularly true on a ticker board after the fallout. There are always a handful leftover trying to convince themselves and others that there's more gas left in the tank, that the company really has potential and that everyone who left will be sorry they cut and ran. Sometimes these poor souls will linger around for weeks speaking the same montra. Usually long after their "fearless leaders" who sold them a sexy story have long gone. Eventually, for many, the truth they've been afraid to realize finally sinks in. That's why there is no point in trying to reason with these bagholders or soon-to-be bag holders. They get wrapped up in the cheerleading of a handful of "experienced" posters who whip them up. Then, when everything has unraveled, they are left to defend their positions based on hope and fear that they've been had. Can't stress enough to take those profits. Every single member here at ATA has experienced a loss...a big loss...a HUGE loss. These losses are what make for a better trader if you learn from them. This board was created to keep it real...and keep it real it does like no other. If you're lurking, pull up a chair and stay awhile. You won't get the same experience here you do on the ticker board. Here....we're ALL in it together and nobody is trying to sell you on a pick. Welcome to all the new ATA'ers out there.
