it's quite simple for the MM's. Two of them simply collude together to sell each other shares in "wash trades" which will end them up with each the same # of shares at the end of the day PLUS whatever selling they managed to induce in the process.
This allows them to accumulate shares at an artificially low price, before an obvious run (in this case due to great news of revs) that is pending. That's why u see the bid/ask always below the price where people are actually buying, and if you try buying during these charades, you will have to pay MORE than the quoted ask, (means those shares on the ask are not REALLY for sale, but are only to make the price APPEAR low) imo but the good news is, this means MM's also know/believe KMAG is about to go bigly and they are preparing for it accordingly...
