the price per subscription most likely is really really low. That is not necessarily a bad thing. Hear me out. They are partners with other companies that package the product with other products. They probably only get a few cents per subscription at this time until either the product takes hold in the market or they reach bench marks. Then the price may become a little higher per subscription and becomes recurring every time the consumer re-ups their subscription to say white skys software protection. Now its a numbers game. They have to virtualy give the product away to gain tracktion. That is not unheard of by the way. Many startups and even seasoned companies give away software to get people in the door to try the product and then hopefully get hooked on it and are then willing to pay for it. I dont expect big revenue jumps in the next quarter. I think they will be in line with what the company has forcasted. But if they can say double the sales of the product to say 8 million next year then we start to get somewhere even if they only get a few cents per subscription. You have to remember that most of the sales are going to be recucuring every year plus we have little support costs because someone else is providing the total package. Most people dont switch their protection software. If it is working they just stick with it. That means we dont have to keep finding 4 million new customers next year. we already have that nice base to work from.
all in my opinion of course. I could be way off base. I am more excited about the patent infringement process. There are other reveune streams that could be at play here that are not forcasted in the current numbers. we will see how it all plays out. I am sticking around for a littl while longer. good luck to everyone.
