Let me throw my math into the mix....

Prior to retrofit:
100,000 miles / 5.7 MPG = 17544 Gallons x $4/gallon = $70175

After retrofit (2 MPG increase):
100,000 miles / 7.7 MPG = 12987 Gallons x $4/gallon = $51948

Difference = $18,227 or $1519/month
