wbmw - How can you keep missing the point? He's trying to isolate the CPUs to compare their power usages, not the platforms. In order to do that, you have to make the systems as identical as possible. But I suspect you know that all too well....

Most would concede that, right now at least, Intel has the upper hand when you look at the entire platform. The gap when it comes to the CPU & NB/MC is not as wide as you claim, though.

'nuff said on this apparently futile effort.
