A soothsayer said to Caesar Augustus, "Beware the Ides of March", letting him know that traitors would attempt to murder him (successfully) on the 15th (Ides) of March, so the "ides" of any month is another way of saying the 15th of that month. Plug that into my post, and you will see that I am prognosticating for July, and poking plafully at an August alert from a certain poster, even though his warning has merit.
