The actual bi-monthly true short interest report is published on 6-26, which will show the "real" short interest as of 6-15 settlement date, unfortunately there won't be a way to tell if any short covering took place between 6-15, and 6-26

Experience is the best teacher,often it is the most expensive. It doesn't have to be ;-)
