I appreciate your DD and you know I love this stock, but I'm afraid your DD about the car results and the actual numbers do not agree on 995ad.com
When you do a car search, there is only 154,878 car listings. When you do a search, and the results show, the expression "1 of 154,878" does not mean "page 1 of 154,878 pages". It means cars "1 through 8 of 154,878 total listings".
There are not even 557,500 cars listed as of today 9/9/2005. There are only 154,871 total car ads. Maybe they just haven't updated the rest yet. They are batch processing the ads. Last time there were only 34,000 ads and all of a sudden the next day there were 154,871. They are batch processing them.
So I'm afraid you've mis-stated it. There are only 15,488 pages. There are a total of 8 ads per page. The true number of car listings on 995ad.com are 124,000. This is true even though it misleadingly says "557,500 total ads found" and "showing 154,878".
But the site is growing week by week so I'm sure the 400,000 other cars will be posted soon. It's still very good work and I like the progress and the speed.
