I agree to an extent. I would think that if a competing company bought out SYNC then as a competitor, knowing that the system could be manipulated in a way to hold them down, they would prefer to go a different path than allow that to continue. Building their own probably wouldnt be the best idea but a 3rd party who is capable of doing the same thing wouldnt be a bad idea. There's not a monopoly yet....
