"""And the company is burning about $2.5 million per month, which includes the cost of a safety study. All told, it'll need at least $75 million to get to the data, probably more."""

yeah but that's what happens when you listen to some yahoo with a story to tell instead of listening to what the company CEO says (listen to the CC again). Simes said the safety trial burn rate would be $1 million going forward. The new efficacy trials cost $30-$36 over 18 months so that's $2 million per month. So total that's $3 million per month starting in early 2013. They have about $47 million in cash now.

CASH FLOW is king, not total cost for something spread out over 4 years. ALL companies operate on CASH FLOW, Biosante is no exception.

So again, they have sufficient cash to get them through 2013. But yes, I'm sure at some point before the year 2013 is up they will need to obtain additional funding.

Dion, having the discussion now about the company needing additional money is way premature and is usually a favorite talking point for bashers, so why give them the pleasure?
