Pretty much my sentiments.

Even thought Visser has achieved his success with altogether private companies and ventures, I suspect that he has been successful due to a high degree of paternalism and trust by those, in the main (there are always exceptions), whom he has employed.

It is obvious, to at least this poster, that while relentless in achieving his vision, he has always credited those employees who have supported him over the last 30 years.

Granted, shareholders are not employees. They are owners. I have a sense that Visser may treat LQMT shareholders with less diffidence than those within the Company itself.

I would hope that he could achieve the status as a member of the Board of Directors, just as I would like to have Materion on the BOD as well.
