Sir,

It is my opinion/belief that VirTra was/is looking for money (contracts) from the Department of Defense (DOD), not Homeland Security (DHS). Although DHS has somehow acquired a tremendous amount of blame and expectations due to the natural disaster in New Orleans, it is my opinion (for what it's worth) that DOD dollars and contracts will continue to be allocated as planned, because...notwithstanding all the media crying about people who didn't evacuate when told to do so...(I know, I'm cruel and heartless)...WE ARE STILL AT WAR.

We will continue to be in such a situation until all Islamic extremists who want to murder unarmed women and children are either dead or contained. Our military and police forces will continue to require threat assessment and response training until such containment is a reality (most likely not anytime in the near future). I continue to be hopeful because (as most of us agree) VirTra has some of the best training hardware and software available.

Back to a previous thread of thought, doing business with the government takes time. We did a $5K deal that took 8 months to close and another 10 months to get paid on. If we were dependent upon that $$$ to pay our bills we would have had to close (or borrow money to pay the help...does that sound familiar?). I have difficulty imagining the difficulty associated with a multi-million dollar deal.

I know (not for sure but would bet my last dollar) that ByloCelhi, PaulP, this Twister dude, and other folks that have nothing but negative things to say on this board have had no experience in completing contracts with the federal government (except maybe to bring coffee & doughnuts to the real decision-makers).

It is difficult to continue to "hurry up and wait," I know. You know what is best for you and your family. I, for one, did not invest anything more than speculative funds, so my position will remain the same. Hold Hold Hold until it is time to Sell Sell Sell and Retire Retire Retire.

(Bylo...Shut up and don't bother to waste my time with your response)
