Here's another crazy good sandwich recipe. I was talking about it at a bar one night, and the owner decided to serve it as a special the next Thursday.... Of course I came in to try it, the schmuck charged me! For my own recipe! That half the bar was enjoying! Lol. Ugh, some people.

BBQBLT: Similar to a standard BLT, however, the key is cooking the bacon differently. When there's about a minute or two left for your preference of frying bacon, dump in some ROOM TEMPERATURE BBQ sauce (otherwise you will have BBQ blisters on your arms). Cover immediately and return to the burner until it caramelizes, do not let it burn! Stirring a couple times every 15-30 seconds. Do not add bbq sauce to the bread/bun. Make sure to at least use mayo on the bacon side though, the greasy caramelized sauce mixes with the mayo and it's.... It's friggin off the wall. Melts in your mouth. Obviously add lettuce. And I prefer a few thin slices of tomato instead of one or two thick slices, the sandwich seems to hold together better. The big difference is that the sauce holds the grease.... Mmmmmmmm. This version of a simple BLT is not for faint of heart. Careful, make sure not to "test" too many strips of bacon before assembling the sandwich, otherwise it'll just be an LT. Lol. Enjoy!
