With POPN on the sidelines, if not already in the junkyard of
sub-Penny scrapage, I forlornly console and occupy myself with
a few meager, paltry, scarcely-fulfilling alternatives.

Alternatives such as microwaving little baggies of Jollytime
Butter-lavender locust-licious popped korn
...and
Orbitville Reddenburger-bacher's Movie-Bijou Magic
Butter-Kingdom Pock-corn.

Could THESE be our "salad days" for now?

We miss the times of anticipation and fleeting/flighty fancy.

-- Milk Duds and Tasty-Tites bun-rolls...

---- Pretty sea shells and balloons...

------ Pony rides on little three-foot-tall horsies...

-------- Bare feet and wet grass...

---------- Unicorns! Marcel Mimeaux!

------------ Diapers a-bulge with tender, warm, buttered, crunchy kernels -- for the COLONEL!

Dare we envision and dream of a world with funtastic, fantabulous
FUNNELS full of freshly-popped and warm, buttery Popcorn?

...A world of anthropomorphic vending machines belching-forth
bags-full of eagerly-awaited Popcorn nearly sodden with synthetic
mystery-substance butterlike substance? DARE WE DREAM!?!?

While, in the retreating distance, we catch wearied sight of
gigantic stone Busts of Mel, starkly and strikingly reminiscent
of those Easter Island monolith-heads, staring, gazing balefully
toward the uncharted seas.

POPN! Come back! Return us to reveries of days spent in theatre
lobbies, getting ourselves a treat!

All the Best to Everyone and whatever may remain of POPN!$ smile
