In a situation like this I am not sure what the DTCC and brokers would pick this up. This involves falsified stock certificates issued by the TA. They look, smell, and feel real as far as the DTCC is concerned. It is no different than you handing a forged $20.00 bill to your local merchant or bank. Neither would necessarily pick it up.
