MSEH has gotten so ugly my kid and I have made up nick names to try and lighten the mood and deal with the portfolio carnage.

MSEH is now called Messy Energy
and
DPDW is now called Depp Doo Doo.

We get to laugh until my wife sees they are down for the umpteenth time in a row for however many days in a row.

Then it is just my daughter that gets to laugh while "Mom" chews me out for being stupid enough to dump hard earned money into them RIGHT as oil prices peaked.

At some point though the brief levity even leaves the little one.

Not too many smiles around the house with the adults and that unfortunately seems to be rubbing off on the little one.

I don't mind stealing bread from the mouths of decadence... But I can't feed on the powerless when my cup's already overfilled.
